  1. Past hour
  2. Dog’s black water bowl directly under his station in direct sunlight.
  3. He has that lawn looking like Augusta National… I’d assume there’s no shortage of moisture either from a hose or the sky lol.
  4. The atmospheric response is more ridiculus imo

Trying out the new zoom on the TCU

Une interface facile Г utiliser comme https://newsfrrx.sbs/# change tout.
  6. Strong Bermuda High pattern with very high dews. We may not see widespread rain but those that get hit will get hit hard.
  7. 81/62 here. Solid mid-late summer day. Did touch 85 earlier
  8. Yeah, rain is in all locales around, but it won't fall on Hickory, it seems.
  9. There’s a dome over lake hickory today. I’ve watched at least 7-8 cells go north or south, only to return to my equal latitude once they get 5-10 miles away.
  10. My Davis, siting ~5 feet and over field grass is the highest dp with 61; 3 other sensors at 30 feet are all 57 to 58...
  11. Most home sensors are oversaturated. Then there’s siting issues due to less mixing and wet ground. So you get some pooled up moisture at times. So some if it is real, some of it is sensor error in the upper dew range. Home sites with better airflow and drier soil will better match the METAR sites.
  12. Today
  13. Where folks live on home sites sensors have read 61-67 all day. Not dry, not COC , but not oppressive
  14. Another day with the fetch from the east…this time the SE. Seeing storms track from the Apps to SE KY is always crazy to watch.
  15. got a marginal just off to the west with the new D3
  16. Basically when any outdoor activity is doable, it’s a coc.
  17. My home sites are good... Have 3 sensors; all in the 57 to 59 range here in Burlington CT...
  18. Was just about to post...what a difference a day makes. Yesterday at this time we were at 98. Today, 68. So refreshing. Too bad there's so much smoke around.
  19. Last year we stayed down by Killington in Gifford Woods. This year the kids wanted to check out the White Mtns. but NH camping options really lag Vermont in both quantity and quality, so picked a location where we could get there within about an hour's drive, and still be within easy reach of Burlington, which is always on my list when in the area.
  20. Thanks for the great info @Mike Cyclebut the statistical analysis showed us that there were no unusual temperature changes at Coatesville 1SW that were not statistically aligned with the nearby stations within 30 miles of that point to support. This supports the fact that there was no need for any adjustments to the raw data at all!
  21. The Raleigh weather dome is back!
  22. Pepco stopped going out of their way to ask people. But if a tree is removed they do still offer a replacement tree or if a big one is taken down we sometimes will give out a second tree. BGE is an over complicated hot mess in short when it comes to their vegetation mgmt program. From what i know vegetation mgmt has a heavy focus on fast growing and or invasive species like chinese paulownia.
