  1. Past hour
  2. Over 0.5” now. Rain filling in along the stalled front (??)
  3. I swear it seems like I’ve been looking forever They’re everywhere. Even here. Anything close to affordable and decent is being bought by investment companies before anyone can get their offer in. It’s rough sigh
  4. Haven't seen any rain in Cville today at work... Just dark clouds to the north earlier.. But radar suddenly looks promising back home in Waynesboro...
  5. Wind picking up with this batch. Sub severe around 35 but adds the storm a bit.
  6. This is the most lighting I’ve seen in several years, and I’m not saying that this storm is impressive, LI just sucks that bad.
  7. Went to the Phillies game today and then got chased back into Jersey by that line of storms. The pollen blowing around was insane. Getting onto the Walt Whitman, I couldn't even see the other side of the bridge through it.
  8. IAD hit 95+ three days in a row. Impressive for May. Meanwhile, it's 84F at my house. Down from 85F earlier with the A/C on the fritz.
  9. 1.04” with a ways to go. Probably end up over 1.50”
  10. 2” totals now for much of central Queens and Nassau. About 1” here so far and pouring.
  11. I guess I should go water the flowers and turn on the lawn irrigation.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Missed the action out here. 0.04". No thunder.
  14. Wow, Archer Ave just west of Jamaica station is completely flooded. Cops just closed the road. Looks like a lake.
  15. Nice t storm finally, still raining with 0.55" so far, wind gusted to 50 mph. Had high of 95° earlier, currently 69° which is the low.
  16. Best thunderstorm in a few years in sw Nassua. Winds were sub severe but the rain an ctg lightning was extremely impressive. Over 2” here .
  17. Was out west of Leesburg this afternoon when the first round hit. When the rn started the first 30 seconds of precip were massive globules of water. If they had been snowflakes they would have been hang gliders - not just mere parachutes.
  18. Finally a decent thunderstorm, good rain, lightning and thunder. Seems like it's been forever. Thankfully no damaging wind
  19. Winners in the severe weather sweepstakes would, for me, always be those who don’t get any. On the losing side——- Shutout on rain thus far near Chestertown and hopefully the next several days’ potential activity will provide some.
