    You could end up with more, but the showers seem to be of a more scattered nature over the next 24 hours, so it could be more of a hit and miss situation. The HRRR shows 1 - 2" over next 18 hours, and it's been more accurate showing the QPF in short term than some of the other models.

    Morning guidance definitely did not suggest that we’d be screwed north of DC with round 1. But now with round 2 this evening focusing south and tomorrow favoring areas to the south more, I’m very concerned that we’re going to be disappointed with our total.

    Yes. It is extremely well coupled….SOI, OLR/standing wave convection, WWBs/westerlies and GLAAM. Once the +IOD really going the coupling is only going to increase more Record high GLAAM:
