Someday the great drought will end.

Now that the ponds and reservoirs are the lowest they've been all summer, they bring it only to abnormally dry. Meanwhile it was severe drought when everything was full. Shoot those products to the sun.

I’ll be on Big Island till Monday… yikes

Would’ve been a good chase trip but the logistics are a mess and I’m thinking the center passes south of the big island as a strong TS, not hurricane. I try to stay away from Island Roulette.

Here we go again with the model wars.

The 12z GFS has the 9 day here at 100ºF, while both the Euro and CMC have us at 72ºF.

Both the Euro and CMC have deep troughs over the east at 500 mb, while the GFS has nothing.

Yeah it is a weird one.

Nice NW to SE cell just pounced here in Monson, and provided the coup de gras to an already damaged sun umbrella that shielded the table on the deck  Gust front, crack of thunder and 10 minute downpour-- now the sun's back out.

That storm broke summers back in Portland. 75F to 55 in minutes with a 69mph gust. Got a pretty good video looking out toward the jetport of that dowburst.
