This always favored the southern half of the state for the biggest totals. Northern CT, as of now, looks like a a beneficial rainfall but nothing earth shattering. bristolri_wx Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 Seems like another 1-2” of rain over next 24 hours looks to be reasonable for many south of the pike as the storm moves north and the east over the coastal waters. Every model has a different depiction of how it exactly turns up. HREF are juicy but should be taken with a grain of salt, but shows why no one is steining this storm at 5PM on Monday even though precip shield is scattered/ragged on radar at the moment. CT Valley Snowman Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 There is a decent amount of modeling showing a secondary north push. Time will tell. When it's all said and done, the southern half of CT will likely do the best. I think Enfield ends up around 1-1.25", which in the end, is a nice beneficial rainfall. It’ll rain farther north and east but no one away from the south coasts and maybe SE Mass are getting flooding and 3-9” of rain . You can see it on radar . As well as it tattooed that azz to my face line on Saturday with severe storm miss . It’s been equally as bad with this .
