This evolution doesn't scream flood to me outside of any typical spots that flood even when someone leaves their garden hose on too long. I want to see an expansive area of 35-40+ dbz which is almost not moving and with a continuous fetch of moisture and a continued blossoming of the precip shield with intense echoes so the rain shield is essentially stationary.

Looks like about .45 so far at home.  Nice day up in Maine.

Sun thru some very thin clouds, forecast says nada from the current system, maybe some TS late week.  (Though that was the forecast for last Wed-Sat and nothing happened.)  The Sandy River was above 75th percentile last Monday and probably will drop below 25% by Wednesday, as the trees are working and the temps have been very AN this month.

Based on radar it kinda looks like CNJ into Long Island is going to get the worst of it.  But obviously that can change.

Hudson Valley too with that training area of rain-some of those spots are over 6 inches and still going.

more of a stratiform rain here locally-up to about 1.60 with steady mod rains
