Heavy rain here.  Pouring at the moment.  A few rumbles and flashes.  No wind.  Eyeballing the gauge looks like 1.25” on the day.

Deluge with scattered thunder and lightening.  I'm up to 2", including an inch in the past 27 minutes.  We're passing through 3-4 inches easily based on that radar.  My street is a river.
Meanwhile, if I'm reading it right, it looks a huge bow echo is heading into South Jersey.

I think the eastern PA activity that has been west of Hunterdon is going to get us tonight, but we'll see.

for tonight - tomorrow severe threat returns especially if the sun comes out and increases instability in the atmosphere once again - some folks east of the Hudson think they are out of the woods regarding heavy rain and storms - well they are not IMO

Very brief rain in queens, not much at all.  We keep dodging these storms.

Western Hunterdon County along and south of 78 looks poised for some torrential rains at a minimum.  Radar looks very impressive.  Western and central Somerset county as well.

Still bursts of heavy rain here with rumbles of thunder.
