We did a day trip to Fredericksburg yesterday to see some historical sites…got up to 72 down there (full sun!).  Got home and it was 64/sunny…beautiful afternoon yesterday!

Looked outside. While it does not look like in the 40’s it also does not look like in the 60’s. Temp is currently 65 with a slight wind out of the SSE.  Could do with a bit more sun but eh I will take it for early March.

Wow ! Finally some sun after who knows how many days. Temp has spiked from upper 40s around 9AM to 60. Now, if the golf course could start drying out.

One other thing. My brother lives outside of Boston and last Monday texted us a picture of something looking like a wedding cake on his deck that was approximately 24 inches tall. This morning he said it is all gone.

I’ve noticed this today and on other days where it’s significantly above average during the colder months. What is the cause of that slightly burnt metallic smell in the air? It always happens on days like this.

Too humid and the air is still. Would be nice if DP was around 50 with a breeze. As is it reminds me of mid May. After snow on Monday, no bueno.

There is a very slight breeze here now, but when I was out earlier, nada. Got to get used to being outside and sweating though- it will be the norm for several months soon enough.

Well we got our 4hrs of sun for the month and back to clouds now - 74F here and gross out.  Wood frogs are very active in the pond.  I put our pond pump back in service and had a couple mosquitoes after me.  Hopefully they all become active this week and then we get a freeze next week and it'll kill them all.  Between that and the rough winter it should help control them during the first half of summer.

Better than the hour I got yesterday. I’ve accepted the fact that Frederick is one of the cloudiest places in the region due to the geographic microclimate. I’m all in on these temps, though.

I loved the burger. Best one they’ve ever had. That said, it’s McDonald’s, so the bar is low lol
