snowman19 Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Severe fog here. Near zero visibility on some streets. 51 degrees and high dews. Ate up all the snow. Gone. Only snow mounds/piles left. First time I’ve seen grass since early January

Models are behaving the same way they were before the big storms in January and February - they don't have a clue this far out and in March and April trying to forecast a frozen event more than a few days in advance is impossible IMO because they are are so borderline to begin with......... 1

gravitylover
This fog is crazy. The houses across the street are just ghostly shapes. Front yard is 20% torched off where it had blown clean in that first big storm in January. Otherwise, I still have full coverage about 4" thick.

PhiEaglesfan712
If you're still holding out hope for a snow event, it's time to let go. The only people in the Eastern US that may see a wintry precipitation event going forward is in Northern New England, I'm not even sure they will get one. bluewave
The usual warm spots in NJ have a shot at 4 consecutive days reaching 70°+ which is impressive for so early in the season.

I wonder if we will be saying that about the cold and snow too at some point in the second half of the month - various models are signaling a large east coast storm at some point with polar/arctic air involved 1
SACRUS
53 / 52 clouds (6th straight day) and some showers / fod around. We'll see how much and for how long we can get breaks and see the sun as warm front moves north and first 60s since Nov (26th or 10th). Finally, sun and spring Mon - Tue with Wed the caveat on timing with the arrival of clouds and associated front. 70s in the warmer areas (first since Oct) and perhaps a stray 80 into S-C-W-NJ with 60s east of there. Currently not looing wet this week but would still watch later Wed and Thu with frontal passage. Overall chillier 3/15 - 3/21 with a few stronger below avg days and the risk of late winter storm between St patty's day and the 18th-19. Moderation towards the arrival of spring. 1

JerseyWx
Warm temps and higher dewpoints have eaten the snow alive here. Snowcover completely destroyed and gone. Even the huge piles at the corners of the driveway are tiny. Next few days look great, shame though it's just a tease.

But by the end of today that will be largely gone. Low 50s here and high dews.
