Flakes coming down in fits and starts, struggling to get going. Dry air still doing a good number in Boston

Same here in Greenfield. Bursts of heavier snow with the wind gusts but otherwise light Arctic powder.  Although intensity has picked up here the past 10 minutes.
30/25 so definitely some dry air.

Def. up there, yea.

Interested to see how much difficulty it has starting....usually the degree off ease with which it starts kind of correlates with how well you do.

that's a good point, between that and stuck between banding can be a death knell :D

I don’t really see a mechanism why that banding would get eroded?

Fronto breaks down and shifts ENE with the waa….NYC/CT wants to keep that going as long as possible. But models may be breaking it down too early.

Still S+ over NJ but the main band on DIX radar has weakened a bit.

Yea, mid levels dictate all of that...just have to watch and wait to see.
