kvegas-wx
Anyone have experience with Starlink panels being covered in snow? How quickly does the signal degrade or fail?
wxmaggot
@kvegas-wx If you're talking about the receiver "dish" itself, ours hasn't ever really had an issue, It has built in heat to help with this, and it does pretty well. if you go on your Starlink app and go to settings you should be able to find heat/snow mode (something like that) with options to turn that feature on. Can't access my app right now.

The latest model runs look pretty good for Upstate SC and show 5-7 inches for the Greenville area.

calm_days
A full moon will hopefully be quite visible Sunnday night above all the new snow !! Of course also the days following will have a mostly full waning gibbous lighting up the snow cover to see before sleeping or when waking up in the middle of the night. sakau2007
Pikeville, KY is currently at 22 degrees with snow falling: https://www.pmcky.org/weathercam/ Doesn't appear to be accumulating on the roads yet as of this post, but I am guessing it will within the hour if snow continues.
