I'm a little sicko for -PNA/-NAO patterns....so I'm ok with the look going into the 2nd week of Feb after the PNA breaks down. Maybe we can go Feb '69.

Or early Feb 2021?

As long as we can keep the flow from being too NWrly.

Even if we got some 3-4" Arctic sand clipper refreshers, that would be nice to keep the winter vibe going. You would think with all the cold shots at least some moisture would be rung out.

That's certainly possible.

despite the chilly temps, sun angle really doing a number on the pack. Wow

No it’s not, lol.. I work at a golf course. We have north, south, east and west facing greens and fairways that are out in the open sun. Still 16” deep. Only thing that has happened is some wind pack/scour and slight sublimation.

I don't think the sun isn't doing anything to the snowpack in this atmosphere. Evidence of that is looking at the roofs of peoples houses.

daylight adds energy ...

the whole conversation is rube-ish

Feb 6-8 system growing legs. It's on all the big models GFS, CMC, Skynet. Next shot for a solid event.

I spent a whole sermon on this a couple hours ago and of course no one read it ( I don't learn apparently ) but yeah, there's a signal there.

However, just like the shenanigans in the models leading up to this ordeal on Sunday, this next one may suffer the same frustrations.

so,... it may have legs, but their not the Conan The Barbarian type of legs...  They're like the kid with polio waddling around with the help of his arm crutches
