Which was that storm that the Euro had an absolutely horrific bust on because its SST's along the eastern seaboard were completely off, resulting in a big bust in its forecast... it must have been 2014 or something because it was back when I was still doing forecasting

Point is, thats the kind of error we need (but in reverse) for most people lol

I thought this was going to be that 6z NAM run that brings everyone back in.. looked much better. Gets eastern areas with a bit and cape gets crushed

The upstream low was closer and weaker than previous runs so it was more lobular and not totally discrete.

I still think that whole look would be a bit of a nowcast.

Been gone. I'd still be a little nervous if i was on Barnstable/Dukes...still think warning snows have a tough time making it past ACK. I bet the watches get converted to advisories for Barnstable and Dukes and a warning goes up only for ACK. Definitely best shot there. Pretty cool they're getting another snowstorm (or at least plowable event) on top of the 12-16 that fell over there. Lucky bastards. Sometimes it pays to be on the islands, though not often.
