Awesome

Was moderately dense and a little bit surfy today down here, even some -zl at times.  But really just what the doctor ordered.  Skied well and more importantly skied in well.  By the end of the day the natural had a nice packed down base that sets up great for whatever should follow.  Rocks, stumps mostly buried hopefully for the winter.

That’s sweet, those big QPF dumps are key to laying down the base for weeks to come.  Cannot overstate how important it is to have it skied in well like you said.

If I had these ratios yesterday I would’ve had a 40 burger. Prob 25 or 30 to 1 in this if not more.

I bet we’ve averaged 20-25:1 up here.

16” now and I’d wager the models were pretty close with 0.75” water.

It hisses when you walk through it or shovel it.

Yeah I think we had 13 to 1 or so yesterday. I thought we may end up better than that, but not surprised either. I remember saying 13 or 14 to 1 is a good default in cold storms where good DGZ crosshair isn’t obvious….

Today’s stuff was obvious on model guidance. I was very confident in high ratio fluff for Monday PM stuff but yesterday is a very good example of not going crazy with ratios on a high QPF dump from a prototype SWFE
