Speaking of furnaces my gas fired is set at 71 and on for 12 minutes then off for 15 and repeat cycle. How about others?

Same. My Nest is giving me notifications that something is wrong with my furnace because it keeps shutting off every 15 minutes. Same cycle over and over again. Warm back up to 71 then get cold again 15 mins later

Depth measured at 7” on my deck (by a 5 and 7 year old).  6” snow this morning and probably 2.5” of sleet. What a wild storm with more to go.

I'm pretty sure it was January 19, 1994, with the monster ice storm and even DCA dropping to -4. BWI, DCA and IAD all had *highs* below 10!!

It’s crazy the amount of sleet that’s fallen after a pretty decent snowfall this morning. Have to be pushing over 8” of snow and sleet right now. It was ~6” of snow before the flip, and it’s just been constant sleet since.

I do not know what is harder. 12” of snow pack off a downward sloped driveway. Or the 2” of sleet we just cleared. Had to be careful walking as we were sliding all over while shoveling. That was brutal.

Considering its still sleeting heavily way down here I think that you'll be okay. I will be slightly disappointed if I get no freezing rain to make the trees pretty so hopefully I get the switch soon.

13 warm degrees here. Pounding sleet and continue to have needle like snowflakes along with it. Closing in on 8” snow sleet combo.

Seems reasonable to think if I was doing the snowboard measurements this would be a double digit storm...it's pouring sleet but there's definitely a little snow mixed in 14.7 degrees

Just dumping sleet. Been like this for hours. Unreal storm. Never have experienced anything like this before. Around 8” and holding at 17 degrees

Honestly, this storm is so unique that it's been fun to experience. I'm not at all sad that it's a snow/ice event. We don't get these kind of setups too often.

sleet continues, 6 inches of snow have been compressed to 4 or 5 by about 3 inches of sleet on top, temp has risen to 19, the high for the day so far

We have 1.3 inches of frzra/sleet on the ground. Sliding all over. I am forced to walk like a penguin in this stuff. One fall and I am done for lol ! Only 23 degrees out Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Would an epic 2' snowstorm have been insanely cool? Totally. But when will you next get to say you've been through what may be 4+" of sleet in a single day on top of warning level snow?

Ya most of us seen 15” of snow before, not many have seen 3-4” of sleet.
