Let’s go friends! What’s in everyone’s glass for happy hour? Let’s kick off the storm right! Other Half makes some of the best IPAs / DIPAs in the DMV.

Heading to 5p Mass and then will be enjoying an espresso martini.  Cheers to the storm!

Ice water for me right now. Simulating ZR, but the changeover to Tito's on the rocks occurs around 02z.

Now, the question is once you've consumed half of your beverage, is the glass half full or half empty?  :P

Okay this is what took place last night into today. Last night the front hit at 730pm. Temps tumbled from 65 to 33 by 4am. We got an inch of plain rain by 230am. It's been damn COLD all day at 27/24. Winds are NNE at 20 gusting to 33. Trust me its cold enough down here. All standing water is frozen. Thus far we have been lucky with only a little frz dz. But I see a ton of Pac moisture comin for us later and temps will be in the mid 20s with even colder air on its way tonight. Can't even believe I am contending with an Extreme Cold Warning, a Winter Storm Warning, AND a fricken Ice Warning!

Ohhh, that sounds tasty!!!  Perfect thing to cook and let simmer on a weekend like this!

Louisiana born and raised, it was always my cold weather food, and then when I hit real cold weather no longer living in Louisiana, it's been perfect.

About to get to work on this home made pizza

I do homemade pizza every Thursday night. If you make it all the time, I'm sure you got this.

If it's a new endeavor for you, my biggest tips are to treat the dough as gently as you can. If it's not stretching into shape easily, walk away and let it rest for 5-10 minutes and it'll be way easier to work with. And bake it hot! Hotter the better.

Awesome. If you don't already have one, a baking steel (or knockoff version from Amazon) is a great way to get even better results.

There's a fun recipe for cacio e pepe pizza that uses an ice cube on top of the dough. Maybe I'll have to do a version using freshly fallen sleet haha

I have been on keto for a year and cant eat pizza. Although I lost 70 pounds on it. Another 20 and I am going to fuck up an entire Ledo's supreme in 10 minutes. :)

Wow, 70 pounds, that's incredible! Keep it up man, I bet you'll knock those next 20 off this year and you can make your pizza dreams come true.

And I seriously ordered a supreme for dinner tonight from a local pizza place instead of trying to down any hospital food haha.

Capital Weather Gang and their clown boom and bust snow maps make me sick.

they even used to have a confidence bar to boot.  For a public facing product, you don't fix something that has worked for decades.  You make a forecast. And you bust or you don't.

Cheating here. Pulled out a DiGiorno's and doctored it a bit. That and a bowl of 'tater soup will be dinner.
