27 is the forecasted low, but after the past 10 days where the temp has rose after midnight probably 7 of those nights, seems legit.

Well, broke the streak, lol. Low was 21.9 degrees about 6 am, currently 24.0/22.1 at 8:30 am with high cirrus in the sky.

In other news, I was concerned my car might not start after sitting outside BWI for over 3 weeks, but no issues (2 yr old battery)…so that was kinda cool.

I miss the days when we had an active southern stream and occasional NS shortwave to time a snowstorm instead of the other way around.

The biggest issue I’m facing is that my plan of getting more sun by often complaining about the lack of it, isn’t working.

I don't have stats but feels like mby has struggled to reach forecast highs a lot this season.

41 now. Just noticed forecast high I saw this a.m. of 46 has been shaved back to 44.

Looks like tomorrow will be the first 24-hour period in which the low temperature is above freezing since late November.

Hit 44.5° today after a low of 29°.

Some local weather news. Montgomery County, as part of a locally funded initiative, will be purchasing some additional mesonet stations. These tripod/compact stations will focus on urban areas to better understand risk from heavy precipitation events and urban heat islands. The plan is to have a density of 6 to 8 miles per station. Equipment has been purchased, with the goal of deploying them this year. All data will be public on the mesonet website once the stations come online. A big day for @wxmeddler

I think the lack of sun hurt. When the sun popped out for even a few mins yesterday, I noticed the difference.
