Temp down to 31/28, gonna be some icy runs today Interesting you are down to 9” at 1500ft. That’s about what the valley is around these parts. 1500ft in these parts (the base of the ski area) is a frozen solid 26” pack that you can walk on this morning. 2

Your base area gets stronger upslope flow and less down sloping during the warmups we’ve had. Our pack never gets as substantial as even the Mg Washington Valley because of the effect of these torches

Not all fake, has decent water content in it. Hope you guys can hit on the 15th threat. 1 1

We only saw 1-2” decreases in snow depth during this “thaw”… quickly working to make it back up now. I do think it’s much less snow at 1500ft on the west side of Mansfield, maybe even half that 26”. This SE side locks in cold on those warmer south flows for sure.

This has a lot working against it. Kicker lows, and more importantly, it kind of is an occluded mess one it gets here. I think the desperation is getting to normally level headed people. 1

Negative, just feels like a lot of people have been preaching patience, and it’s been stated why this is low probability, yet, we get a random big solution on the gfs and people go wild. I don’t get it 1

See my above post. Theres been great discussion over the last week about why this period is pretty low probability, but you see a big solution and people go wild. There are real issues with the setup, I don’t think that’s controversial

I don’t get it 1) People love the dopamine 2) Absolutely nothing comes easy around here. When low probability is the default, your hopes change.
