Nikon D850 with the 24-120 f/4 lens for all of the pictures I've posted. I'm lucky where my hobbies of meteorology and photography align quite nicely (though meteorology is SO much cheaper lmao). Besides, if you think that picture is nice that is the 50% quality 4 times downscaled pixel wise version that AMWX lets me upload. 1

I thought it was nice because of the lighting, rule of thirds, etc. basically it showed that it took some decent skill to take that photo. Is ur camera 12MP? dailylurker
Very light freezing drizzle. I noticed some ice glaze on my trashcan lid. Be careful out there.

MillvilleWx
Ended up with 1.1” in Londontowne. Most of it fell while I was asleep. Nice to wake up to. Feels good to be on the board!!

wxdude64
That was a nice workout, shoveled the driveway and sidewalks out. By driveway I mean a paved 10 foot by 1400 foot area, lol. Plus, the sidewalks and stairways. Hasn't crossed freezing all day, currently 30.8/28.3 with a drizzle/snizzle thing falling since the snow stopped around 11 am.

It beats down what snow you have on the ground, BUT it has a lot of staying power and is there long after the snow is gone.

Been a while since we've had a snow fall and accumulate on everything and STAY. Usually we end up with 20-30 mph winds after and it all gets blown out/off. Terpeast
Baby Terpeast was born this morning, and both he and Miss Terpeast are doing well. Thanks for all the support and kind words (and the laughs from all these shoe jokes). And there was about 1.5” on the ground when I had a chance to go outside and get our stuff for the overnight hospital stays. Which is the same as the local Ashburn report for LWX. Looked like a real winter wonderland outside the 4th floor window. Today was a great day! 2
