The post noon high was 27.8 which would be a record if it was The high .  That’s a -20 departure which are hard to come by round these here parts

19 and still plenty of wind but managed to see 2 meteors in 10 mins. Hopefully wind lays down by 10pm or so. Crystal clear night for watching the geminids

Edit- I know it isn't calling for it to get THAT cold, but if this wind calms... do we head for the DP?

In the places that got at least 2" of snow cover? Easily.

Airport up at Hot Springs VA is currently 1/-6 with NW winds 21/33 and a WC of -20.

Down to 13 now. It's been a heck of a winter run since Dec 1st. Nice to know we can still get legit fast starts. Dec has been a punt month for years lately

It's 2.8 here with well over a foot otg. If it were to clear out and go calm, I would end up well below zero.
