Probably going to be the good ole compromise where we see the Euro probability amplify a bit more, but we see the GFS back up on any phase or interaction. That is going to be difficult to do within the flow but this could still dig a bit more

Decent little squall that seems to be back building

Looks like a lot of opportunities next week on the Euro, Several shots at some snow over a 7 day period.

Temp dropped -6°F once the squall came thru, 35°F down to 29°F.

Lot of nickel and dimes but it wouldn’t take much to get a little heftier on one of them. The Dec 11-12 could end up bigger.

Yes, some of these could turn out to be better but it is a far cry from last year, We couldn’t even get pennies never mind nickels and dimes lol

Also no real torchy weather in sight (any brief “cutting” clippers aside). Have to watch the mid-month torch potential but it looks more and more muted for our region versus plains and southeast.

Yes sir…that stretch in the mid to late 80’s and early 90’s was BRUTAL!  Nothing ever worked out. In fact I use to say that SNE was the land of the sabotaged snow storm. Everything that could go wrong in a winter storm, WOULD.

Yeah been looking for that mid month it was more pronounced with placing that over the region but looks to be getting more muted looking ahead as you say, Could end up being a very good December after the past several years, if we can hold off the grinch, We’re off to a good start.

All joking aside, these are some truly rugged conditions outside at the mountain.  Full-on whiteouts and howling wind.

Even the ASOS in the valley is registering the rare M1/4 under quarter mile vis…
