Eskimo Joe
Wanted to say that it was really nice to finally meet @Ellinwood the other day. Hopefully you don't sleep through any more big storms!
IronTy
All packed up to head up to the cabin early tomorrow morning. Highs in the 70s, lows in the upper 50s, low DP...gonna feel like October. Spent all day down here putting out moth eggs and lost about 5lbs in sweat. At least I don't get mosquito bites.

It looked blue outside due to the extreme rainfall. It definitely gave me hurricane chase video vibes. The lightning was also wild. I think there was one more of us up there who posted but I cant find it.

Herb@MAWS
Maybe the wording will come back but I noticed all mention of rain tonite was removed from my local (Columbia) NWS forecast, at least during the 1pm hour text forecast. A few of the CAMs have some convection drifting south to Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil counties this evening. Otherwise things look clear for us. Mrs.J
Lovely day for a ride, or 2. Just as much as people are enjoying the nicer temps so are the horses. Have the younger Ms J down to exercise some ponies while hers is still on rest from an injury.

Jebman
I am not sure what the sam hill is going on here in central TX right now. We got this round area of heavy rain just spinning like a top so much, it's making me dizzy. We have picked up 2.6 inches since yesterday. We are under a flood watch that has been extended out to evening. Lots folks disgruntled over soggy 4th celebrations and the prospect of soaked fireworks. This thing just does not want to leave. NWS says possibly up to 7 inches by tonight. I thought this was gonna be done by 9am today? This is Central Texas not northern Virginia.
