DTW probably doesn’t even get 2”.

There's been a band that's been stationary north of dtw for hours. Someone will see 3-5. Of course I'm out of town for it. Pouring down here in florida, 3-6 inches of rain expected today.

Canton Michigan closing in on 4" We have been under the band this morning that just dropped 2" from 845-10am

I noticed it was more intense on radar south of here during that time.  I got about 1" during that period with about 3" total!!  Gonna be interesting to see what happens the rest of the day.  Models don't seem to see the southern part of the precip.

Unfortunately it looks like it will be wrapping up here soon for my area as the band is slowly inching its way north. It was fun while it lasted

That precip along the IN/MI boarder is holding it's own pretty darn well and might not just disappear.

Can confirm also for canton. Started work around 96 and Inkster and it’s been heavy all morning. Going home down 96/275 was a nightmare with near whiteout conditions. 94-696 getting hammered. Boss is sending everyone home in the area

Probably won't amount to much at the airport but there are parts of the metro that will do more than 4".

Looks like southern/central macomb over to Oakland have done well and the band has been parked over them for awhile and still is.
