Projecting the advertised pattern on some of these prices of guidance, doesn’t exactly inspire confidence for a cold Christmas week

I can’t begin to speculate 3 weeks out.  Guidance in truth appears a bit more encouraging then but wait and see.  We should have a better idea in a week to 10 days.

Mid/upper level lows moving into NNE, morphing into an IVT.  Most of the accumulation should be now through 4-6am as this slows down and elongates.

Thought folks were saying the back edge was passing ALB like 5 hours ago?  Maybe now it’s trying too while pivoting?

Not sure what some thought or were looking at, Overnight was when the bulk of the qpf was suppose to fall, From now until 9 am or so here we should be able to add up some accumulation, I have 2" on the ground now.

2” wet paste here too this evening.  Branches drooping quite a bit.  Double this and the white pines and birches will again have some issues. Probably 4-6:1 ratios again here down low in this event. With 8-10:1 above 2,000ft.

2.5” here. Started as sleet and then flipped to white rain then snow around noon-1:00. Did not accumulate much, to say the least lol. Its been sitting at 32.1° for several hours.

Sounds very similar. Temps have been holding 32-33F, with 31-32F up the road.  Big difference in accumulations along that 32F isotherm right now.

The RWIS camera on the way up Mountain Road/RT 108 to the ski area.

Vs. I-89 at 500ft through Exit 10/Waterbury.

Much better forcing into ME and far N NH than down here. Just cold enough with just enough precip to be a messy PITA here in the morning. Only a couple tenths of QPF left to go for C/S NH.

32.2° -SN

I didn't think you would do well. How much you get?
