The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Cheshire County in southern New Hampshire...
  Western Hillsborough County in southern New Hampshire...

* Until 315 PM EDT.
    
* At 247 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Swanzey, or over Keene, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Jaffrey, Marlborough, Marlborough, Roxbury, Sullivan and Troy 
  around 255 PM EDT.
  Dublin, Harrisville and Nelson around 300 PM EDT.
  Hancock around 310 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL CHESHIRE AND WESTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTIES...

At 258 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Roxbury, or near
Keene, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This tornado will be near...
  Jaffrey and Harrisville around 305 PM EDT.
  Dublin around 310 PM EDT.
  Hancock around 320 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

It's pretty remarkable how consistent warm fronts are in dying on our doorstep. Even when it's not the low level crud, as today proves.
