Some new strikes being shown near Potomac on the ENTLN data coinciding with some weak but new reflectivity returns in that area. Maybe some back building? These storms are relatively slow movers too...definite risk of urban or small stream/creek flooding.

Really blew up just east of Potomac in past 10 minutes

Doesn't look like it'll cycle up like the original storm did. Radar looking messy now as more little cells start to pop up elsewhere (W of Leesburg, Laytonsville, Sykesville, N of Ellicott City.

fairly heavy rain and occasional lightning/thunder here in Gaithersburg (east side, just west of Laytonsville).  Definitely looks like some of this recent development here in mid county could be due to interactions with some of those outflow boundaries that dropped south from the earlier storms near Frederick/I-70.

Hooking down by Potomac MD... but that's due to new development I believe

Yep - new little cell. Not seeing much lightning on it. We are probably transferring to more of a heavy rain threat with any new activity. Beefy stuff up by Baltimore could still trigger a warning or two.

FFW Baltimore County inside the beltway and Baltimore City.

Somewhere in the area between Wolf Trap to NW DC up in the MoCo Belway area to College Park is probably going to see a Flood Warning (or FFW) at some point. Lots of heavy rain sticking around.

Why are the airport radars throwing up TVS and rotation sigs but not LWX?

TDCA and TBWI are on Radarscope

Worst gif ever, but the base was showing the tiniest little itty bitty signs of rotation just as this cell got going. Guessing lots of storms do this though, and it's only through the power of a sped up gif I noticed anything

This is the definitive garden-variety thunderstorm. But I'm drinking because my wife and daughter are out of town, and I'm blasting Tom Waits and relieving the glories of bachelorhood. So it's OK.

ETA: Although that was a pretty impressive strike just now. Rattled the windows I think.
