No I did not. I’m right after all. 14 to 20 inches on the map. Right where I was…. And guarantee it was closer to 20.

I remember the forecast leading up to it as well was something on the order of forecasting 10 to 20 inches but most people got screwed evidently

There was up to 20 inches in the west and the east, the middle got porked, where I live, I think I got 5-6 inches.

You had about 8” Of sand.

The map… and my memory…. Say no less than 15 inches. If you look at that map it shows a very small area right over Coventry of above 14 inches. How can we both be wrong. I get it that the majority of CT got 3-6 inches but we got much much more!

Anyway I’m sorry for this distraction how about this week. Are we in for a historical hit!!? One in which a map of snowstorm totals will permanently placed for Google image search?

Dude every town around you had 6 to 10. Every single town. You said 30 to 35  . By the way that's a depth map

You mean for the Boxing Day blizzard?

I attached an interpolation that I created using GHCND/PNS observations. I created 200 other interpolations/images. I'm sure I'm not the only one who did this... Right? Anywho, I created the plots to determine the most significant snowfall event since 1900 on a grid.

If you're looking for snowfall maps since 2008, I'd recommend checking out the NSA product: https://www.nohrsc.noaa.gov/snowfall/

They create their plots using in-situ observations, SLR climatology, Stage IV precipitation analysis (from Radar), and other gridded analysis products: https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/tins/tin15-05bigrsc_snowfall_aaa.pdf
