That number 9 storm was awesome. I lived on 64th and CPW at the time. Major over-performer with 3 or 4 claps of thunder. I Jeb-walked with my dog every hour from like 11 pm until 3 am. The city was silent and beautiful.

It shows how even in a new climate for the Atlantic and East Coast that if the Pac is in 1948-1955 mode its pretty much impossible to get big snow events anywhere near the coast here.

One or two down years in a row seems to be the max before snowfall rebounds in our snowier climate since 02-03.

Storm total snowfall is 23".

Drifts near 4' pretty much all around the house now.

Can't even make it from garage out to backyard anymore.

Just too deep to walk.

Snow depth is now 21" as difficult to measure with drifting and some compaction going on.

Picked up 1.5" last 2 hours.  That is certain as driveway was plowed right after measurement 2 hours ago and

now has 1.5" new snow.

Still moderate snow under persistent band.
