ORH_wxman
CCB/fronto stuff looks a little more robust. Still not quite what I’d want to see for widespread amounts over 5”, but a good trend. Just need that southern stream vortmax/shortwave to maintain a hair longer. It did better on this run, but we want to see that cyclonic curl in the shortwave when it is at about the latitude of ACK or thereabouts.

It gets further north then shunted east, It still is minimal here as it gets squeezed out under the HP, It would need to stay amped longer like yesterdays earlier runs did, Or raise the heights out ahead more with the latent heat release from Zeta exiting NE.

Damage In Tolland
I could see it falling into the upper 20’s in the hill towns the last couple hours. Would prefer 31-32 for duration, but this thing is trending colder

That seems generous but the northern fronto-bands can get it done sometimes. The EPS did expand slightly on the north side and also looked like the SE side. Yeah, been looking at the maps a lot today thinking the same thing. Like, damn I really am way up there, not in "central NH" by any stretch. Trying to will myself closer to the snow for this one, but I'm sure being up north will come in handy more often than not down the road.
WinterWolf
Well you both could be in Northern Maine...you’d both have to drive another 5 hrs north/northeast. Now That should make you guys feel like your pretty far south...lol.
