The tornado went through a very developed residential area and then right on the northeast side of the interchange with US 165 is a lot of commercial/retail development.

Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's the TV stations on site radar or the radar you referenced but either way it's in Monroe and updates about every minute and 30

Initiation appears to be underway ahead of the main line just south of Jackson, MS.

Was just about to say that. Looks like this could be one of the pre-frontal bands developing.

Satellite shows filtered sunshine near/south of I-20 in MS. Models are inconsistent, but if any convection can initiate in south-central/southeastern MS over the next few hours, that would pose a conditional risk for a long-tracker.

The SW end of the main line is breaking up.  Possible it becomes discrete in the next few hours

this tornado threaded the needle between the ULM radar and the airport, as the winds did a quick switch from 120 to 220 when the tornado passed. I also heard from pretty big damage over at the Pecanland Mall (their main shopping mall in the area). I just wonder what the damage reports are on the ULM campus.

Looks like we might be seeing initiation there.  If so, that would be very concerning, but it might not mature until it passes the Jackson area (but you never know).
