2m Air Temp of 40F on July 2nd over Lake Superior, lol.

Today was summer.  Dews started around 60F then dropped into the 50s all afternoon and now rose back to 60F with afternoon temps hovering in the low-80s. 

Will be pretty close to mid-summer climo, which is likely a +2 day today as we aren't quite up to those late-July normals. 

Something like 83/57 for an observation is what I think of when I think of summer.
