I think at this point the worst case scenario string of supercells through the OKC metro shown by the HRRR this morning isn't looking likely. Eventual upscale growth and training storms does have me concerned for flooding this evening though.

Tornado threat looks maximized over western Oklahoma the next couple hours.

Yea this definitely has setup much further west. I think capping and lack of forcing mechanism in OK has held things back thus far

Also, lamesa tx is wanting to do its thing

Ian (sometimes AmWx mid-atlantic member) is playing the Lamesa storm.  Looks like he is in a good position on the south side via Twitter.

Good storm to be on. It’s very healthy. The junk above it could maybe keep it from being outrageous but we will see

This storm approaching Crescent is spinning faster and faster. The next tornado is likely to be quite large.

I was thinking the size and rapid rotation could spell trouble if one ever puts down and stays down. Wall cloud is huge but the circulation is growing alot.

Kingfisher storm only has about 30 minutes of life before it crosses the boundary. Could spin up quick as it nears the boundary though.

Short-term model guidance has trended away from a possible scenario
of discrete storm development over south-central OK.  The most
probable scenario involves several tornadic supercells likely moving
across southwest OK and approaching the I-40 corridor west of the
OKC metro.

Is that two tornadoes or just a stupid large multi-vortex?

Two separate because they're spaced out very well.
