Sort of enough internet to see that PL might try to make an appearance up here. Hoping it doesn't. Cabin heated only by woodstove. Started at 31˚ (someone left some coals in from last night). Up to 64. Bedtime! Awesome area. One of my favorites. Should be a great storm up there. Snowing here pretty nicely now. We'll see how much ZR happens tomorrow. Starting to get pretty interest even for the 128 belt later tomorrow morning.

sankaty
Observing from Reading, VT, this weekend. We've had light pixie dust for most of the afternoon/evening that has amounted to about an inch. It's picked up a little over the past few minutes. Optimistic for a good snow up this way. Plan to ski Pico tomorrow. 13F.

Chuck anything that shows a 0 for pellets because there will definitely be a period of sleet before the switch to freezing rain, but the NAM soundings do look pretty icy for BDL after 12z. I wonder if spots south of BDL like the MMK area might be under the gun for the ice jack. Nrn CT and MA are going to "waste" too much QPF on snow and sleet for damaging ice IMO.
