Wow. Temps are actually rising a little here. Up .8 degrees in the last hour. Moderate snow with a light breeze.

That wont last long Joe. I think there is a high potential for a flash freeze today.

Wind has picked up and temp dropped about 2 degrees in the past few minutes to 36 F IMBY.  Very light rain.

It has flipped over to snow here in West Asheville and coming down pretty good.

Edited to add: unbelievably cars and ground are already getting white

Rain in Candler as well. Temps holding at 37F.

That is crazy. It is absolutely pouring the snow here in West Asheville. My wife asked me to come get her downtown. Weather is weird.

Changed over to snow on the East side about 30 minutes ago.  Temps have dropped from about 38 F earlier this morning to 33 F at the moment.

Theres enough snow on the ground in Boone to match the dry runs from yesterday evening. Looking good so far. Absolutely pouring. Temp around 35. Dropped 4 degrees since 930.
