Got over an inch here as well. But I want a snow. A real one.

Keep waiting. I don’t see any major snow events on the horizon for at least the next 10 days.

Just another day in paradise with a slight East wind breeze.

We've had some house shakers out of the SW in the last hour. Weird hearing the wind coming from down the hill rather than up.

LOL...not only is the wind ripping out of the east but it's also climbing the elevation so in these types of events I almost literally record no rain in my tipping bucket due to it's poor wind protection and cone design.  .10" today.  Yeah right...  High gust so far is now 52mph

Trying to remain calm after looking at the 6z FV3. Snow ended around 530 where I'm at, just a dusting and we're actually stuck on the mountain as the road is complete ice.

Just left from doing an inspection of the house I’m buying over at Balsam Gap, sun is out in full force on that side of Haywood but the closer I got to 40 the more you could see the snow showers are banked up on that side of the county.  Fines Creek looks like it’s getting hit pretty good from what I can tell.

Yes, The Fines Creek/Crabtree areas usually hit the jackpot in NW flow events.

This is dream software interface for the Davis Vantage Pro.  Truly real time.  This link is to a demo site in France where the software developer resides

It would be great if the NWS could have that type of real time access display to AWOS/ASOS
