That band down by ACY is racing due North.

If that track holds, urban NJ/Staten Island/Manhattan are in for a rough ride.

JFK always seems to get the strongest winds lol.

 

I'm wondering why these big weird storms always seem to happen at the end of October........

Upton has had Danbury consistently in the low 60's for two days now so I'm figuring I'll be right around there. It's got me a little bit concerned if the wind is out of the SE as I'm exposed to that direction with lots of big trees around the house.

I'm worried that we are going to get strong SE winds tonight and then strong W winds tomorrow, that kind of directional change can't be good for trees, especially after inches of rainfall.
