In Plymouth, close to the ocean, still 100% sunshine...you would never know there was a chance of snow today. Temp sitting at 25 winds are almost calm and pressure trend is still rising

However, am concerned for the evening commute. Guidance continues
to show good synoptic lift and mid- level frontogenesis at the
onset of the snow. Very steep lapse rates of near 8 C/km combined
with good omega lift in the snow growth region could result in a
burst of snowfall. These convective parameters indicate that
snowfall rates could be closer to 1-2 inches an hour across
Western CT, RI and into SE MA. This will drop vsbys less than a
1/2 mile.

Another area of low level converge will develop during the
overnight hours but will dive into that portion of the forecast a
bit later, once the new GFS and Rgem are in the database.
