Thought I was going to say buh-bye to the band over RI but looks like it is sliding back west as DIT noted. Any N/NW RI peeps in here? Looks like it's been going pretty good there for a while.

That band has been over me since like 10am. Every time I look out the snow seems heavier. Flakes are getting larger now. Vis maybe a tenth of a mile. Winds are slackening.

East Woonsocket, up Walnut Hill, if you know the area.

22.7/20 - Heavy Snow - 30 to 35 mph wind from the NE (45 degrees).

5.75" on the snow board for the first clearing of board.

Measured varying depths from 1 inch to over a foot+ of new snow. The snow board is in a relatively sheltered area so I believe it's pretty accurate.

So far this storm has sucked here - interested to see if the HRRR is right - has quite a b it of snow around here through this evening. We'll see.

Looks like an additional 2-4" for most of the state as that W CT band moves east and fills in? Intensity has definitely picked up here in New Haven in the last 30-45 minutes. Best snows of the day.
