WOW - Maybe the NAM stands for Nuclear Armageddon Model.

With some of these ridiculous numbers being thrown around, does anyone have an all time top 10 storm total list for cities down this way?  Middletown, Lancaster, Millersville, etc.

12z GFS seems to be worse for Pittsburgh but better for Wilkes-Barre, but very small changes.

GFS is horrendous for most of us out here. Even places down to Morgantown really struggle to get more than 6-8 inches.

Looks like the western extent of the price shield just evaporates as it gets to western pa.

Did some digging and per Horst, here's the top 10 largest storm totals in Lancaster going back to 1926 -

1. 1996 - 30"

2. 1983 - 24"

3. 2003 - 24"

4. 2010 - 24"

5. 1958 - 20"

6. 2010 - 19"

7. 1993 - 18"

8. 1945 - 17"

9. 1961 - 17"

10. 3 way tie - 16"

So we're in the hunt for a top 5 I would say.

Can't say I disagree. If anything, maybe bring the 24-30 slightly farther east to include the ridges in southern York Co.

Hey Matt. Hope everything up your way is going well. All of the Ville Met majors are geared up and ready. I'm liking the LNS area for what Eric has at 16-24". I'm gonna literally be stuck in ground zero in Germantown MD NW of DC proper. This is a meteorological marvel.
