Half inch hail and gusts to 40 mph at the office. Just missed the best part of that storm.

 

Raymond looked in line for it though. What happened up on lava rock?

 

Congrats, I at least could see the cumulonimbus tower from here somewhat, Looks like the cells like the KWVL area

At least you're now just slightly ahead of Las Vegas for rainfall this month.  You've got some work to do if you want to beat Yuma, though.

0.05" from this. 0.06" is still my biggest daily rainfall of the month and the last 40 days...lol

So close yet so far.

Storms should collapse right on time inside 495/128. More stable air is nearby BOS. Boundary right over town it seems. I'd just be on the lookout for a microburst somewhere as the storms die and mix down some wind. I know the skew t was inverted this morning with drier air working in later hours along with steepening (somewhat) mid level lapse rates.
