Altoona is probably going to be past the -2ºF record well before midnight even gets here. State college's record is -8 for the 16th and -7 for the 17th. Tomorrow's record low is -4. I think we might be able to make a run at it tonight. It's going to be close. It's clear as anything outside. MAG5035 Posted February 16, 2015 Share Posted February 16, 2015 Initial look at the 0z Euro looks slightly weaker with the low and really cuts the precip shield above I-80 and overall QPF in the rest of PA. Looks closer to the NAM/GFS but probably still a bit better than those models for the southern tier. Also, down to -7 here currently.
