I swear a 5 year old just rang my doorbell and said "I'll shovel your sidewalk for $5". I looked at him, his shovel as tall as him, then my sidewalk which I shoveled already, asked him to look at it, and he walked away without a word. WTF.

LOL Key word - 5 years old. Now, look at your avatar quote. Clearly he thinks like you. LOL

An occasional flurry at the moment here in Carlisle.

Temp up to 33.3.  Just had peak wind gust of the day so far at 25.7mph.  Avg sustained speed now around 12mph out of the North.  Pressure down to 29.47" or 997.7mb and falling faster now at 0.070" / hr (2.3mb/hr).

I see the pivot continues now with the angle of the band having backed to around 30 degrees from 70 degrees earlier.  We all wait to see if the band holds together as it gradually collapses south and east.  Oh, the suspense.

BTW, my snowpack has compacted an inch down to 9" from 10" from temp above freezing.  Just cleared my snowboard and am waiting for the ccb arrival.

If you look at the current 850 mb field on the mesoanlysis page, you can see a pretty neat enhanced temperature gradient stretching from south central PA to coastal NH. It's almost like a mini warm front with an enhanced area of convergence, resulting in the frontogenetic forcing and banded precipitation.
