  1. Past hour
  2. it’s been a while since we’ve been at 90-100% chance of greater than an inch five days out
  3. This was a great shift north on the NAEFS from 0z to 12z. I've found that the NAEFS are just as useful as some of our other ensembles because they take the CMC and GFS guidance combined. It's sorta like a North American specific grand ensemble.
  4. I am good for the season with this one system
  5. He’s a f-ing troll to own the climate libs?
  6. Frederick would perform incredibly well with that setup with that extra Blue Ridge upslope.
  7. Can you imagine being stuck in that in this kind of cold? Gotta be 6+ hours until they get traffic moving again I would think?
  8. Hopefully GFS is overdoing the warmth and rain Wed and early Thursday. Would suck to lose most of the snow.
  9. there are some massive hits on the euro ensembles for this wknd storm. Some 2+ feet.
  10. WGAL is sounding the alarm on social media. I guess the march is on.
  11. That was a cold Storm. Heaviest Southern Valley into North and South Carolina..broad aerial coverage. 7 inches at my house near Pennington gap then. Over a Foot southern Forum.
  12. Yikes, this is why 95 percent of the population hates snow
  13. 12z Euro might be overdoing the 2m temps a bit Would be very impressive if this verified
  14. Euro AI buries us. GFS, CMC laughably South Operational Euro jackpots Richmond.
  15. While we wait for the biblical snows this is worth a watch: ouch. Wouldn't want to be stuck in that mess in that kind of cold. Can't imagine how long it will take to get traffic moving again. Gotta believe 6+ hours?? https://x.com/i/status/2013289835960611318
  16. I mean I lean suppression in this case but I agree you'd rather have the storm track where it is now 5-6 days out then be in the jackpot zone.
  17. That and scooter shit streaks, Let him keep those in his pants.
  18. Is it just me, or are both posts above in response to the request for a Kuchera of the AI Euro, actually 10:1 maps, not Kuchera?
  19. Kinda giving a potential repeat of President's Day 2003 vibes. First snowstorm that I remember. Wasn't even 2 yet. We had 22" here. My dad built an igloo in our front yard. My grandfather used me as a "brush" to get the snow off his Suburban
  20. Also super fluffy and sitting up Kind of felt like cheating to add to the totals with the denser stuff we'd received the previous 24 hours, but the ruler said what it said. And we know the mountains of NNE don't apologize for or qualify their ratios.
  21. Check out that CCB, classic blizzard look.
