Watching this very closely, this model has shown the solution for most of the last few runs. Other models are kind of all over the place. I was already fascinated by the AI models and the relationship to the traditional physics based ones. This is going to be a good test case it looks like. .

Narragansett Bay area, North Shore MA, and somewhere around E Norfolk, PYM county. -
Nice buck in the back there. Very surprised he still hasn't dropped his horns yet. They're usually gone by this time.
-
I know. You did.

I’m hoping for a half inch here but like you said in a previous post this setup has been shifting east. Eastern LI should do the best.
-
Exactly. Our forest definitely can handle a nw wind up to 60. An east wind at 60 is different. This kinda wind will clean out dead wood so that could cause a power outage. But widespread tree damage isn't happening with a nw wind during winter.

Maggie Valley Steve replied to Buckethead's topic in Southeastern States
Yes sir. I was hoping for a day or two of near 60 highs, and that evaporated to low 50's one day at best. That's been the trend all winter except for the week of Christmas. -

Perhaps you can call the Billerica HWD and explain to them that what they are doing is a waste....mention your AMWX credentials .... -
Yes, much deeper water.

These torches are getting muted on the EURO. What looked like a solid ridge now looks to be pretty flat until the next significant cold front next weekend.
-
The amount of hazards on the LWX page is crazy. Heavy freezing spray advisory! Never seen that one.

I keep two humidifiers - one in each bedroom to maintain around 30% for sleeping and healthier sinuses. The rest of the house has been running 10-20% the past month and my one at work has shown single digits on a few days. Maybe deeper water?
