Picked up .9" snow here late afternoon into the evening. Came down at a good clip for a bit.

Same here. Left Chatham about 4:00 and it was 41 with light to some moderate rain. They were salting the roads like it was the end of days. Never snowed down there and even if it had dumping salt at 4:00 was going to do nothing even if it switched to snow by 6. Would have been mostly washed away. Took back roads home (Sussex Turnpike) and once I got to Randolph it switched to snow like someone flipped a switch. Snow, sometimes heavy rest of the way home. By the time I got home at 5:30 (made a stop) all local roads were snow covered. My rural not well traveled street had been plowed. Snow ended about 7:00. Took measurement at that time and had .90" as an event total. Currently sitting at 1.6" for the season. Temperature hovered right around 32 during the snowfall but once it ended it bounced up to 34.5. About 1/2" remains on the deck at 9:30 due to compaction and some melting. Nice little event. Spoke to a friend up in Newton and it was pretty nasty up on the side roads up that way.

Just got back in from walking the dog......I had thought the roads would have been better than they were earlier. They were actually much worse Probably because the rain had let up so it was freezing more quickly. Almost went down twice. Even the dog was stepping cautiously--not one of her strong suits! 35* zr- EDIT: from what I've experienced here and the earlier post that was about the sidewalks in PWM, I'm surprised they don't have any type of SPS up along the coast.

32° and light snow in Hartland, roads are slush covered, looks like maybe an 8th to a quarter of an inch of snow so far.

yeah, these love to amp up the fluff factor with sloped 700-500mb FGEN on the NW side of the precip shield. that would likely verify 4-6” along that corridor

I think it did snow around 4” total here. It just shrank back down to 2.5 or 3 from raining on top. The plow piles are significant and it was heavy to move. Not much depth added, but weight was added. I woke up late and glimpsed at the radar it looked like an MCS rolling through with a 40+ dbz bright band at ground level, lol. Those big wet slush flakes definitely added water content even at 33 degrees. It didn’t stack much but it didn’t melt much either.
