  1. Past hour
  2. Of course Kev would never post this HammerTime, as he calls Ryan, tweet. Objectively is not his forte instead he goes right to personal insults.
  3. Yeah, pretty much anywhere north of downtown did pretty well. DEN picked up over half an inch, about in line with what models were showing a few days out.
  4. Looks like the line knocked out the MHX radar
  5. 62 for overnight low and windows wide open and maintaining 47-52% indoor humidity
  6. We were trying to tell 'em for weeks but they just wouldn't listen. Smh...
  7. Utterly terrible weather for late July. Let's save this for autumn. Wish it were in the 90s.
  8. Don’t be surprised if the models like the Euro increase the El Niño regions SST forecasts again on August 5th once the effects near record WWB get incorporated into the new model run.
  9. Speaking of smoke, I wonder how much affect on the MTD that stretch of wildfire smoke had. Maybe cooled it by 0.5 to 1.0?
  10. Today
  11. I'll believe we have a -PDO this winter when I see it. Last winter was the least -PDO in quite awhile. My hunch is neutral is the best we are getting on that scale. I do think what Steve D/Joe B are harping on has some merit that the non Nino region SSTs being so warm is going to likely interfere in some form with the El Nino behaving as a similar type El Nino may have behaved back in the 70s/80s/90s. That assumes IF those non Nino region SSTs are still that warm in Nov-Feb, but given they have been crazy warm like that for seemingly a decade now I'd assume that remains that way this winter. I have no idea what that result is, it certainly does not guarantee it'll be 09-10 or 87-88 again in BWI/DCA but it may mean the winter is markedly colder/snowier than 15-16 23-24 97-98 82-83 were. I just toss 23-24 in the garbage as it basically was a totally nonsensical strong Nino.
  12. Was always fascinated by wx when I was kid. When I went into the Army, I became a wx observer. WX balloon ops, and all that comes with it. That fascination has never ended. Wx is so cool!
  13. For sure, northern front range did very well this week. Even Thornton did quite well. Sorry you guys didn’t.
  14. Nope, beautiful day. I think it was just his time ha. Yeah I have a neighbor who is a tree guy and his crew is here right now taking care of it, glad it's nice conditions for them.
  15. Probably up enough to end water restrictions soon
  16. Temps stayed in the mid/upper 70's yesterday. Point has backed off the heat for the weekend. Screw the heat, just bring some good stms
