RUC continues to slam us...996 over the elbow of the Cape. Seems pretty much on par with everything else.

It's gradually shifting SE. I think what's got my attention is this is the first time all winter it isn't running a low up into RI or Buzzards Bay at this point. It's tracking it over or even SE of ACK, no dry slot (filling it in/sliding SE each run and no temp issues back here, should be all snow).

Would figure that this is the time it's going bogus, but it's good (for me) to see a track SE for once.

would like the WAA Snows to over perform with rates.....would like to see 1/2/hr to 1/hr set up over PA /S NY by midnite....in order to bust high on totals i think this is a key.

i'm kind of concerned that the area of snow in OHIO never materialized like the Norman OK meso discussion suggested. the radar showed dark greens (heavy banding for about an hour) then it fell apart....i don't see their meso discussions crap out like that too often. anyone have any insight why this occured. i posted about it around 415 pm.

well i see the snow in SE ohio messenger...(2 reports of hvy ) ....it just didn't have the coverage that it looked like the meso discussion suggested....esp seeing that i SAW The radar over central ohio.....basically weaken from 30 dbz to 15 (from banding to none around 3pm) just after the sign of banding that was present prior to the disco.

kev i don't think you would acknowledge anything bearish in a now cast storm unless someone pissed on your snow banks. i am actually just trying to observe down stream now cast events. with that said i do like the echos over W pa bout 20 -25 dbz. but nothing really representing banding worthy a meso discussion.

FWIW I'll just be happy when the flakes are flying 4 inches or 8.

Looks like the week will end on a good note. When all is said and done my call for here is 7-8". That will put this weeks take at 16-17". Hopefully with more to come next week this January looks to be quite an impressive month. Great skiing and snowmachining here on the east slope.

I'd also be on the lookout tomorrow afternoon for a windex type event in some towns as the arctic front moves thru. GFS and NAM both hint at it . Surprised Ginx hasn't been on this

I have been preparing a 360000 sq foot building for an extended Arctic Invasion, have not looked at much other than some runs and temp progs.
