Graf was correct again!!!!!!

The NWS promised a 60% likelihood of storms.

SPC issued a Severe Watch.

Graf said partly cloudy with a 15% chance of any rain............

I have had 3 sprinkles.

Graf is proving itself as a very credible source of information. This cannot be denied.

          I was really surprised when this popped up on my Radarscope.    The HRRR hates this event, and while WPC talked up the 850 mb confluence, it seems kind of subtle to me.  That said, the RRFS likes it to some extent, as did some of the cams earlier today, and storms are indeed firing across central PA.   I'll be surprised if anything makes it southwest of Baltimore, but it's worth monitoring for a while this evening.

Scottsville received 3.20" yesterday evening!   Augusta received 4 sprinkles.

Today, NWS says 30% and Graf says 100% for Augusta!!        This will be a real test for Graf.

September 3-4 were a disappointment imby/Columbia.

9/3  - 0.04”

9/4  - 0.05”

Fortunately I received almost a 1/2” rain on September 2, so the month is off to a relatively reasonable start.

Graf updates every hour. It still says 100% rain for Augusta between 10:30 and noon.

DC really got hammered by the Thursday night storm. Great photos in that thread with many downed trees. Our friends friends from NE DC stayed with us last night because their power was still out, though we think it's back now. There were no wind issues like this just a few miles north in silver spring, just heavy rain.

My yard is already rock hard and cracked. The .34 that i received over the past 7 days didn't do much for the drought. No rain in sight is great for my business but not for the drought. The creeks that feed the South River are mostly completely dry. We can't shake this drought.
