Interested to see what this line does.  It has been holding in a steady state or even strengthening.  I think if any additional severe for R78 northward in NJ it will come from this.  If this starts to weaken as it crosses the Delaware then I think the worst is over for NNJ.  CNJ on southward still in the game regardless of what this line does.

Last of the NNJ current severe now exiting Bergen County. 

Watch the cluster south of 78 over southern Hunterdon County for something severe.

Hardly any rain here today in the Financial District, although NWS just issued a special weather statement and flash flood warning. I’m not sure what they’re seeing on the radar but I’ll take their word for it.

Dying as it moves east as usual. It's the rare north to south setups that bring real severe to LI. Maybe around 25A gets some heavy rain, where I am probably some gusty showers. I can hear a couple distant rumbles of thunder.

I think the tornado threat is over for the most part. The best parameters have shifted East and are mainly offshore. Also looks like the squall line threat for later is diminishing.

Do you want tornados and wind damage? lol. Its not like we need the rain, weve had nearly 7 inches in July

I was surprised they were that far east with the watch.    Rain cooled air here from earlier hard to see anything severe from that.

I don’t know if I’m doing this right but this is the damage along Rt 80. Looks like driver is going East. 
 

And, yeah, after multiple leaks in my house roof and my garage roof and water in my basement on Saturday, I’d be perfectly happy seeing all this miss middle Long Island. I’m convinced most of this forum are not homeowners lol.
