Echo tops with some of the storms in NJ are over 30,000 feet. Not very common around these parts. The one just north of Morristown is showing 37,000 ft.

My wife works in East Hanover but thankfully she didn’t go into the office today. But she said their office is all going into the basement. Can see why based off of the radar signature.

Friend in montclair says its very dark and sky looks scary. Another is in IKEA (paramus) and they moved everyone to the basement.

Not surprised.  The couplet passed just south of me and was heading east along 46/80.  Cams along the route were super impressive with sky conditions and wind.

JCPL now reporting almost 5000 customers out.  Doubled in the last hour.

Maybe NYC/N Queens gets clipped a bit by this, there has been a bit of a right turn to it in the last 30 mins but still seems like its the activity near ABE and south that would hit areas south of those which have been getting trained so far
